shop expands, new designs coming

This week I will wrap up the ” setting up” of the additional shop area. Tonight reference book shelves are going in. By next week I will be onto finishing up current orders AND did I mention its also SCULPTING TIME !

LOTS of BIG new things coming to TwistedTOybox this year… more shop space means more work happening..more props, costumes, and more product line coming soon.  yea. stay tuned.

Silverwood / Scarywood Theme Park wrap up…

I am the Halloween art director for Silverwood theme park in Athol, Id. 2010- present. From concept and design artist, build team, actor training, directing the build of attractions and live shows. I also set up the FX shop and brought in my friend Kelly Mann the ” mask Doctor” to partner and help create the countless custom monsters designed exclusively for Scarywood theme park that could be seen no where else !
Not only did we take care of the FX shop and build/work the makeup team/ This year I suggested we take the park decorating up 3 levels with scares around every corner and even more fall Them throughout ! IT turned out beautiful. I designed the concept for the parks newest attraction ” Mind Warp”..the maze and The indoor haunt I helped build last year was greatly improved and changed. I got to transform the Terror Canyon into my surprise Freak Farm which terrified guests to no end. The Zombiewood Express written and directed by Nick Norton was a super cool show that I hope everyone got to see. I did the work on every one of the hero actors costumes and makeup, along with our FX shop making ALL the zombie costume parts used..The amount of help and teamwork at the park this year was great. It took such a large team of talented people with great ideas to all pull together and We definately put on the best show yet ! I cannot even start to give names but you know who you are and Thank you all for all the hard work to make changes, improvements, and getting it done right this time. IT paid off. THANK YOU . We got great comments all night long, EVERY NIGHT and now the reviews are being posted. Being TEAM MEMBERS and working together is what it is all about, thank you for that this year. All of our hard work paid off and we saw the park fill up every weekend and had a fun time scaring their pants off…. just wait till next year !

HALLOWEEN 2011 CUTOFF DATE

The Halloween 2011 cutoff date has arrived. It is now too late to place an order for custom work or last min orders to arrive in time for Halloween 2011.

We have a small stock of some of the most popular products left, but once they are sold out, that’s it.  I am completely booked up for September and October this year.

If you are a member of the newsletter I will be sending out a newsletter this weekend or next week with a final list of these products that I have left that can still ship in time for Halloween 2011.

Any order placed after today ( Aug 10 2011) will be made during NOvember 2011. UNLESS it is a piece we have finished and in stock, ready to ship.

I will be taking a limited amount of orders to be produced during November in time for Christmas this year. If you are interested in Christmas monsters for a loved one, please email me now. I WILL HAVE PSYCHO SANTA finished in November !

creeping up on the Halloween season !

We are in full swing production in the studio right now. Latex dries fast in the bazillion degree Mississippi heat ! I have been working on filling current orders along with some custom and sculpting projects.. We are working hard to make as much extra stock as I can of some of my most popular products so we have plenty for the Halloween season.

PLEASE ORDER EARLY! It is Halloween 365 days a year around here but during the Halloween season we do sell out of product fast. Since everything is custom made by me I can only make so many. I hate having to send emails out saying something is sold out SO, order NOW to make sure you get your order in time for Halloween 2011

If you are ordering a FIBERGLASS PUMPKIN DRUM TOPPER I need your order now so it can be sent out by the end of August. I may have a couple extras on hand but ORDER NOW to be sure to get one in time for Halloween 2011

I am completely booked during September and October 2011 and will not be able to take any custom projects during this time. No custom sculptures / designs from scratch or last min projects during Sept and Oct. I AM, however, scheduling custom and sculpting projects to resume in NOVEMBER. Here is a trailer that has just been released to promote a new book. I created the feet, paws, and tail for this project. Thanks to my local friend Wade Acuff who gave me the opportunity to work on this project and making sure my name got in the credits !
